More than half way through the series now, and I love their relationship so much. How it evolved but remained the same.

I absolutely love these characters! This series has so many ups, downs, and turns. It’s a rollercoaster of emotions. I love that Penny gets James to live, and he became her everything. I can’t wait to read more!

I love that we get to see the still-scorching married life of James and Penny as they make the most of their time together while they await the birth of their first child. Seduction was hot, hilarious, and full of emotions. But not only that, witnessing the wedding of Rob and Daphne was an added bonus. Likewise, Ivy is a genius at tying together all of her interconnected series with nods to Empire High, The Society, and Men of Manhattan, including cameos from some of our favorite characters.

This book was just like the title says. It follows Penny and James as they start to explore their first pregnancy. Penny wants to make these next 5 months memorable before their baby is born. I love that this story still moves along in timeline and has an unexpected event with Rob. I love how everyone is growing with this series.

I got a good laugh reading this book. I think ill be buying paper copies so that I can annotate better.
Parts that made me laugh:
-"How is it that we can have sex and I somehow wind up completely naked and your fully clothed"
-"I love you like this; flushed and happy"..."You mean freshly fucked"
Spice level 4/5

Coming Home

Temptation was my first delve into the work of Ivy Smoak and it truly felt like I was coming home by reading this continuation of Penny & James’ story, set before the Light to My Darkness. I loved seeing how Penny & James are keeping the spice of their relationship alive and seeing Rob and Daphne’s wedding! Another great addition to Ivy’s books!
