It started off very slowly and while I thought that the middle chapters had potential, I had to dig deep to finish this book. I tried to look at the bigger picture of where he was going with this but the fact that Lynch uses no quotation marks or paragraphs, made it extremely difficult to identify with and feel for the main character and her family even with all the the horrific events taking place.
