I wish this book was longer!!! I loved the idea of bidding for charity because it kind of reminded me of Flipped (which is literally the cutest movie ever). I think that Piper and Ryder were a cute couple. I just wish that there was more world building and the book was longer. I wasn’t really a fan of the way the novella ended, but other than that, I thought it was pretty cute.

I wish this was longer. I was about to flip to another page but there wasn't one. I think this could have been just a little tiny bit longer and not because I think it didn't end at the right time, which it actually kinda did, right at the beginning of something more, but because I wanted to see more.

Sara is great at novellas, I've read Switch Hitter and really enjoyed it and this one was also very fast-paced and intriguing. I liked the premise a lot too, a little unconventional but very interesting and funny.
I would've loved to read more about Piper and Ryder.

Okay...

I mean I knew it was a novella but it felt like it just stopped in the middle of a random spot... this was the story of how two people... went on a date. Not an interesting super involved story of a crazy date. Just this quick one and done date. Not super interesting to me. I mean I felt like that was more of a couple scenes than an actual novella.

A very quick, easy read. Like with most novellas, I found it too short to really build upon their relationship; but overall, it was a sweet story with a surprisingly sexy twist thrown in at the end!

Sara Ney can do little wrong in my books. I wish it was a full, fleshed out novel. It made my heart happy and left me wanting more.

The audio left me feeling unsatisfied lol. It was an ultimate cock-block and now I’m just sad.

I loved this short novella (just 54 pages per Amazon). It originally was released on the Read Me Romance Podcast as a featured audiobook during March 2019. I listened to the audiobook and loved it, and knew I would want to add the ebook to my collection when it was released. The Jock Hard series is so fun, but Switch Bidder can absolutely standalone. Sara Ney infused this story with her trademark humor and witty banter and I enjoyed meeting both Ryder and Piper and hope to see more of them in future Jock Hard novels.

This is a sweet read, but it's super duper short! I think the author could have stretched it out more because that ending was far less than satisfying. I legit yelled "THAT'S IT?" by the time I reached the end of the final page. When that fact finally sunk in, I cursed. And cursed some more. Because I want more of Ryker and Piper. Bummer! Hence the 3 stars.
