A wonderful mix of classic beloved characters and a good mystery. Can't wait to read the rest of the series.

The book was fun and enjoyable. It’s no Jane Austen, but it was still pretty good! The characters were very good and I felt like they stayed fairly true to what Austen intended. It did feel more modern than the actual story, but I can look past that. I did like the story line. It was interesting and took me a little bit to have everything figured out. However the whole supernatural element was a little much and I felt like simply alluding to the supernatural without it being the actual cause would have been more successful.

I enjoyed this book which isn't normally the case with Austen followups. The supernatural elements surprised me a bit, but overall I enjoyed the relationships between the characters and I was intrigued enough by the mysteries to keep reading. I will read more in this series.

A weird Austen knock off, that completely lacked Austen's wit and depth of characters. Takes place after their marriage and is supposed to be a mystery.
