Misspellings aside, the short stories were a treat. It's good to read the characters doing something else and interacting with others. I liked the story with Mahito and the one where Megumi and Itadori are following Gojo around. It was like reading a cut scene from the anime or the bonus page on the manga.

It's good for a reread. Also, since it's multiple stories you can put it down and read it later.

As a big fan of Jujutsu Kaisen, I loved getting to see more character motivations and fantastic art. Some of my favorite characters like Nanami and Itadori seemed more loveable and then characters like Ijichi who I hadn't felt any emotional response to, seemed brighter and more whole. That being said, if you're not a big fan of the manga series don't read the light novel. For the writing, there are translation issues (EX/ Sukuna is written as Suzuna in the first chapter) and, at times, the characters couldn't shine as the dialogue and descriptive writing felt very dense and bland. It's good fun but it's not really well written, or at least, translated well.
