My first 5 star read of the year! I absolutely loved this book. It hit all the right places in my cold, black heart. The banter and chemistry between the main characters was so good. Especially when Elias breaks down and cries on Dora's shoulder. Chef's kiss! I loved how this grumpy man, who's angry at the world, fell for the very odd but compassionate woman. There were so many parts that made me melt.

Im surprised this book isn't classified as YA? Would recommend for fans of Margaret Rogers and Allison Saft.

howl’s moving castle meets bridgerton is honestly the best way to describe this book !!

forever obsessed with the fact that our ill-mannered, poor-tempered (not)gentleman literally put stars in the sky to make Dora smile
