It was okay. Nothing something I would read again though. This was the first book I read by her. I actually listened to it on my Ipod.

Not only an excellent book but turned into a TV short series starring David Tennant as Brendan Block. Highly recommend book & show

Not one of their better books unfortunately. Mostly this was just really frustrating and the characters kinda annoyed me. Still kept me curious though, not wanting to put it down.

Zoals alle boeken van Nicci French gaan ze onder m’n huid zitten. En deze is niet anders. Koortsachtig vloog ik door de pagina’s heen op zoek naar wat gerechtigheid voor het hoofdpersonage Miranda. Want man, wat wordt haar een hoop onrecht aangedaan in dit boek. En dat niet alleen, heel haar omgeving lijkt zich tegen haar te keren. Zelfs zo erg, dat het eigenlijk niet zo geloofwaardig meer was en mega frustrerend. Het is dat de schrijfstijl van dit duo zo fenomenaal is en de vaart er goed ingehouden wordt, maar eigenlijk moet ik me achter veel van reviewers hier scharen; dit is niet hun beste werk. Wel weer erg vermakelijk, verslavend, duister en mega spannend. Ik wil meer!
