I loved the relationship between this sweet brother and sister. The care and concern he shows for his sister even when he's afraid is wonderful. Great story for a one on one read between siblings.

Hilarious and heartwarming story, from the viewpoint of an older sibling. So many little moments that will make older siblings think "YES, that's exactly how I feel sometimes!" including frustration ...but also protectiveness, understanding and love.

I really like this even though it reminds me of other books on the market, probably because I love Maple Lam. I enjoy the complex emotions and relationship between brother and sister portrayed, and I love the little sister's insistence on her own bravery, an important thing for kids to hear affirmed: female bravery.
