How can one possibly rate a book of this nature?!? Did I "like" it? No. Would I recommend it? Depends. Did I read it in one disturbingly unputdownabble sitting anyway? Sure did.

Splatterhorror. Predictable. Made me cringe and wonder what was wrong with me for reading it all the way through.

Kind reminder to those who need it, check trigger warnings & read with caution. Be kind to yourself!

This book is a couple things. Certainly a horror book for one. A very well written horror book, because of the descriptive and gory nature of it. It’s also very short and pretty fast paced! Entertaining, but NOT for the faint of heart or squeamish.

Well I was going to DNF this but I got sucked in and had to know if I predicted right. (I did) So yeah it wasn't scary but it was gross, disturbing and sad. I liked Shyla or whatever her name was, she seemed like a cool chick and I was sad for her. Interesting theme, and I liked how the story was structured into multiple short stories that tie into the overarching plotline.

If you’re a fan of Chuck Palahniuk you’ll love this, quick and easy read with plenty of disturbing events. Could predict the ending very early on but that didn’t ruin it for me and found it quite funny..

I went into this blind. Seen someone on tik tok say that this was the scariest book they’d ever read and warned others not to read it. Curiosity killed the cat and I wish it didn’t. I’m now warning you, don’t read this.
