If you are looking for a book with a strong female character that possesses a sense of humor and a man that can keep up with her then look no further. A Cowboy's Dare is just the book you've been searching for. This book grabbed me from the beginning and kept my interest until the very last word.

While the book has a serious storyline there is humor in it too and that made it a fun read. I liked Jane's spunky attitude and Tyrone was a great match for her. Sometimes the chemistry between the two leaped right off the page. I found myself so entertained that I couldn't put this book down and read it in just a day's time.

Lucy Thompson is now on my must-read list and I think you will add her to yours too after reading this book. A quick, fun, and entertaining read!

I received a free copy of this book from the author and was not required to write a positive review. All opinions are mine.

Pair headstrong and proper Jane Montgomery, the mayor's daughter, with stubborn and gritty Tyrone Harding, owner of Female-free Adventures, and you have a volatile reaction.

Even though they can't remember being married nor saying "I do", and who would after "that" spiked punch, and even after seeing their signatures on the license, they both continue to ignore their true feelings for each other and agree to continue the farce of their marriage, but with unexpected results.

With two stubborn hearts each destined to cause mayhem, and each destined to be together, there is no better read than A Cowboy's Dare which delivers a gutsy western feel reminiscent of John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara.

Such a Good Story!

I love this book. I enjoyed this story so much. The main characters, Tyrone and Jane, are very well written. Their story of love and forgiveness rings very true. Ms. Thompson is clearly a gifted storyteller. I look forward to further installments in this series.

My one and only issue with this story is the editing. They're are quite a few errors in spelling, missing words, repeated words, and in one moment near the end, chpt. 26 or 27, where Tyrone speaks with Lydia, but he calls her Jane. The errors are minimal and do not take the reader out of the story.
