A decent short story that takes what I loved about Salem's Lot and places it in 22 grey pages

"One for the Road" is a spooky story! Genuinely chilling and atmospheric. However, the story cannot stand on its own. Without reading 'Salem's Lot, the story makes little sense and is confusing. Having read 'Salem's Lot, I really enjoyed "One for the Road," but I don't think it would be enjoyable without my previous knowledge from the novel.

Absolutely loved this short story! ‘Salem’s Lot is one of my favorite King books and this short takes place around that town and in that same storyline. Was really great to be back here!
