I would read every page of a phone book if it had the promise of showing me Poe Dameron’s name

I really enjoyed this book. It's the story of the resistance very low in numbers rising. There were characters I was familiar with from the star wars movies and also some new ones. I would definitely recommend to a friend who loves star wars.

I have no idea what to do with my FinnPoe heart after this book. Bc it all leads to canon FinnPoe but then Disney chickened out of making them gay. Thank you Rebecca for giving us these FinnPoe moments. U are a legend.

Stuggled for a bit as the first half was pretty slow. After that, there is non stop action, which was a lot of fun! Introducing new characters and reunions with older characters was great!

This was not a page turner but an absolutely essential bridge between TLJ and TROS! I think my super high expectations and knowing some spoilers already might have diminished my enjoyment of it.
I thought it was great how it pulled together characters we met in previous books and media, but I found myself wishing the book was longer so that each character had some more time to shine! If one has no glup shitto knowledge, many of the moments here probably don't hit at all. It was also a little predictable at times.
With that said, I thought Poe Dameron and new characters like Teza Nasz and the obnoxious Winshur Bratt were the highlights, very well developed and memorable. The Bloodline tie-in was the one thing I was most excited for and it was short, bittersweet & quite emotional, loved it, just wish I hadn't spoiled it for myself.

I also really appreciate the FinnPoe moments in this! :')
That one scene will live rent free in my mind every time I think of them.

This might be the one book I wish wasn't narrated by Marc Thompson because
Spoilera certain Bloodline character was done dirty here (missing accent)
, but that's most definitely a nitpick, the audiobook was still great.
