Just as crazy as the first, if not even crazier. These people just really make you hate them and want to kill them. Even the kidsĀ

While not quite as brutal as the first, it was still pretty good. I did have some moments of "What the hell are you thinking??" but I think that happens in most stories. LOL

Kind of spoilery!!!

I will admit that I was somewhat relieved, but also disappointed, with how it ended.

This one actually edged out better than the first book in my opinion, but in different ways. I can understand that the first book was a male power fantasy with a female survivor. What I enjoyed about this book was how the women stuck together and had a type of love for one another that triumphed over their fear. I also liked having more insight into the cannibal tribe and how The Woman grew them again.
