A very interesting read, biased as to be expected. Although I am a Liverpool fan and despise the manager, I find the man very interesting and his story also interesting. Enjoyed it nonetheless, regardless of some of his nonsense criticisms of non-MUFC figures. Only to a Manc is Gerrard not a top top player, whereas Nick Powell is the future of England ....

Glad to see old cherry nose on the mend after some recent health issues.

A book for football fans but a wee bit heavy on the bias. As to be expected.

September 13, 2014.
Normally, I would never have read this book. I used to think that SAF was just one of those average managers who win because they have a good squad. The thing is, only the last season and the current pathetic condition of Manchester United made me realize what a genius Sir Alex actually is.

I simply HAD to read this. I loved this book! Such a great man. And manager, of course. This is only my second autobiography and well, no regrets! It felt good to read about all those greats. Also, him calling the Barcelona team of 2011 the best team he ever faced was icing on the cake. :D

What a great read. It really evoked a strong sense of nostalgia, and gave a chance to relive the glory days.

Disappointed by the omission of several pivotal aspects of Ferguson's tenure. Notably, there is a lack of dedicated chapters on the iconic 1999 treble-winning season, the influential roles of legends such as Eric Cantona and Bryan Robson, and an in-depth exploration of Ferguson's challenging initial years leading up to his first major successes with the FA Cup, the European Cup Winners' Cup, and ultimately, his first championship.

The good times will be back, because we are United.

P.S : This book is best consumed by watching the highlights when reading about a particular game/goal/league or cup run.

This is a fantastic read for Manchester United fans, or any soccer fans for that matter.
