I think this is my favorite volume so far. It was so fire.
Also, can y'all stop making me sad???? Like this is so unfair, stop.

Was really contemplating whether or not I wanted to give this a 4.5 or a 5 and I decided it deserved the full five but if I change my mind, I can always switch the rating. The volume was great either way.
See you in the next one. :P

honestly, these hardly read as volumes, its such a quickpaced continuous story, with all these cliffhanger endings. everyones leveling up this volume! really love the moments of quiet emotion we get for characters--and very notably, the characters who are removed from those feelings. also some great humor this volume: denji and power are existing in a totally different genre of manga than everyone else.

Denji and Power literally share one braincell but love their duo. Also I think Makima might be a devil herself.

WOW, this volume was intense, I have so many questions regarding WHAT Makima is and who her devil is because dang, that was just fucked up. I actually felt sorry for the bad guys. Denji and Power get some intense training, or well, I am not sure if I would call it that, it was just fucked up again. Don't know how that guy could do all that and how those two idiots would allow it to happen. Then again, I guess they have no choice. There were lots of gore moments, some sad moments (poor Aki), some cray cray moments, and I love the guts of Makima near the end. Also loved seeing some other devils pop up from the squads. Like a dude with a shark's head or a girl turning into a spider.
I am quite excited about the next volume. Yes, it is all very fucked up and gore, but I also cannot stop reading this series.
