the way this book absolutely changed my mindset around money 🤌🤌🤌

“Worrying is praying for stuff you don't want. RICH: Able to afford all the things and experiences required to fully experience your most authentic life. What comes out of your mouth comes into your life. Time wasted rationalizing the mediocre could be time spent creating the magnificent.”

“We all have the power to create the life we desire, but most people deny themselves this opportunity because they don't believe they can.”

“You can have excuses or you can have success; you can't have both.”

“Believe that you are worthy of financial freedom. Do something you love and then all you ever have to do is be yourself to succeed.”

another book that i got halfway through and gave up on, but i finally finished! this book was very repetitive and kept giving the same 5 tidbits of advice but for over 200 pages. there was no real “advice” on getting rich, just words of wisdom to do it yourself. i’m not any wiser on how to make money after reading this

If you've read Jen Sincero's original Badass book, you'll probably find a fair amount of repetition of themes in Making Money, but I still enjoyed it all the same. I like her conversational writing style, and though this book is very heavy on the Law of Attraction principles, I always like a good reminder to focus on the positive and my goals. There are some questionable pieces of advice sprinkled throughout the book (like when she talks about spending 85k for a life coach) and she is very insistent that you need a coach, but I take it all with a grain of salt and just apply the parts that work in my life.
