Little did I know that I was starting off this series with the second book and yet, I still really enjoyed this book.

In Dirty Rich Cinderella Story you will meet Cole and Lori. Now out of these two, I definitely was more in love/obsessed with Cole. Lori tended to annoy the living shit out of me.. but these two somehow made it work. I ended up falling in love with these two and their relationship. Besides these two, you will meet Cat and Reese.. which I think the first book is about them? Not quite sure but once I dive into that bad boy I'll let you know.

The drama was just meh in this book. Honestly, it was so stupid because they just assumed the worst of the other person after they were seen with another person of the opposite sex. It was frustrating to read about and I can't tell you how many times I rolled my eyes during those scenes. Other than that, their relationship was almost perfect.

Overall, I'm glad I ended up picking this book randomly on my audible. I need something with smut ASAP and even though it was there.. it just wasn't enough. I need more!

This was a solidly enjoyable read! I had trouble putting it down so it's fair to say it held my interest. The lawyer plot furthered and supported the romantic plot quite well; and the alternating points of view were a nice touch.

I did have a few issues with the tempo. Parts seems to drag on and others flew by. It took a second to wrap my head around those things. Also, some of the dialogue seemed a bit stilted. There were clunky, awkward lines or thoughts and it always threw me out of it for a moment.

This book was a great palate-cleanser and Lisa Renee Jones is on my list of authors to revisit, but it may not be my first choice.

I quite liked the hero. He was the perfect book boyfriend material. The heroine was a little meh, but she was also quite strong at times. Overall, a pleasant experience.

Thanks to the author for a copy to read and give my opinion.

Lori Haven left Stanford with only nine months left to get her degree to take care of her sickly mother and a mountain of bills her father's death left. Stuck in three different jobs to make ends meet, and barely scraping by. One night she runs into a drop dead gorgeous man who makes it clear from the start that he wants more than one night. Assuming her identity is close to his ranks he lets her go thinking he could find her but all the clues to who she is disappears.
Cole Brooks took one look at Lori and was hooked. After a one night stand, he has become obsessed with finding her and making her his. After entering a partnership with Reese, Lori shows up as an intern and sparks fly.

Favorite quote from the book...
Cole after giving Lori a spanking and she wonders why she enjoyed it so much....
“Because the danger of never letting go is you lose yourself. When you lose yourself, you lose what you’re after, why you’re doing what you’re doing. Been there, done that.”

What a fast paced story....I started reading this on the radish app and I went back and reread everything again. I really enjoyed the characters. The second book in the dirty rich series, I didn't read book one and still loved this one so it's a standalone just using different characters. Cole and Lori were kismet in this book, and just loved the angsty drama towards the end. I will always read from this author, her series are just wonderful. So if you love Cinderella stories with HEA then enjoy, this book is for you. Five stars of entertainment!!

Guilty... of loving this book

I really enjoyed this book. I’ve been rereading old books because I couldn’t find a good new book to read - this book changed that. I love the characters and their chemistry. They really connect and you can feel the electricity. Now Lori was annoying at times, but I understood where she was coming from even though I was annoyed with her. Cole was the perfect blend of alpha and a loving boyfriend. He put up with Lori’s attitude when he could of just walked away. The end of the book felt rushed but I’m glad there’s a book 2. Overall, great read.

I am in love with this book, I couldn't stop listening until the end. I am getting more books from the series and reading them all.
