Finally got a chance to really spend some time reading this book. I did try to start it a few months back. It was an ebook and it takes me a minute to get into those. I enjoyed the book even though it was highly fictionalised, but it was an easy read and accessible.

This book was absolutely fantastic. It was written quite well, captivating, and educational. Definitely recommend it for anyone who is interested in Buddhism or different religious/spiritual beliefs.

Absolutely fabulous. An excellent way to tell the story of the Buddha; the author makes the characters come to life while still keeping them historically accurate.

Second time reading it, though it’s been many many years. Was a nice story, with a good cadence. Trigger Warning; This story contains rape and bloodshed and death.
