Wicked by Amo Jones

“She stared at me from across the room. It was the exact reason why I loved her. She was reckless with her need for me. She didn’t give a fuck who was watching. I felt it, she sure as fuck felt it, and I’m one thousand percent everyone in this goddamn room felt it.”

“Love was a distraction to destruction. Nothing more, and nothing less.”

“Because with Wicked, he needs to own you. All of you. Every animalistic tendency that man has comes out to play with you when he’s fucking you. He fucks to own you, not sleep with you.”

After weeks of teasing, Wicked is finally here! And let me tell you, this book is twisted and boundary-pushing. It makes you question everything and leaves you on the edge of your seat wanting more…

One thing I can count on with an Amo Jones book is that she’s going to pull out all the stops and test every single one of my boundaries and Wicked is no exception. Wicked is intense from the very first page and will keep you captivated the entire time. This story hits the ground running and had my head spinning, not knowing which way was up or which was down. The romance, web of lies, betrayal, and twists kept me on my toes the entire time. And just when I thought I knew the direction this story was going to take, the carpet was pulled out from under me, and I fell further into the rabbit hole.

Wicked is probably one of Amo Jones’ darkest books yet and isn’t for the faint of hearts. Wicked is brilliantly written and completely consuming. This is the kind of book that you’re going to hate one minute and love the very next. The chemistry between Wicked and Ruby is explosive and will leave you all twisted up in knots. If you’re looking for a hearts and flowers type of read, Wicked is not for you. But, if you love dark and twisted tales, go into this story blind. Heed the warnings. Trust the process, and enjoy because you are about to be taken on a crazy, wild ride.

*I was provided an ARC copy of this book, in exchange for an honest review*

The story is hard to follow along with the way it's written in parts.

It would be a 5 star if not for the above.

I am a HUGE Amo Jones fan, have bought and read a lot of her books, so naturally when she’s got a new one coming out I jumped on the chance to read an ARC! Especially with as much as I loved Sicko. I wanted to love Wicked more than I did.
Wicked is by all means a great story and I did like it. I loved the characters and the plot very much. It says it’s a standalone but I highly recommend reading Sicko first to fill In possible questions that will come up.
Wicked has left me going on an adventure to fill in the questions I have. Amo has tied in little tidbits from other stories and I love that about her writing and how her different worlds come together. It leaves you wanting more and as a reader that is the point right?
Wicked has trigger warnings for a reason… check them. This is a DARK read there is no question about that!
Amo has a dark twisty way of telling a story that leaves you questioning everything, Wicked is no different.

this really was wicked

This was my first Amo Jones book and while I’ve realized that her writing style is not my favorite I still thoroughly enjoyed the story. The amount of plot twists and turns that this takes keeps you constantly on your toes because it’s never-ending

I forgot how much I love this world and how much I love the way Amo writes. You can never tell what is going to happen, the plot is like whiplash in the best way. I ate this up.

Wicked is just fucking fantastic, what can I say. What a mighty fine man

Boom Explosion what a ride that was where two worlds collide in more ways than one.

So many twist and turns through out this book that will leave your head absolutely spinning and what is happening?
