I found all of the timelines jumping around, without any real explanation, to be not only annoying but also confusing and off-putting to read and listen to!
It actually completely ruined my enjoyment of Wicked and Ruby's story. There was no real explanation for Skully, Victor, or the Bratva.🤷🏻♀️ Then, there were all the fake deaths.🙄 What happened to Ruby near the end was just gratuitous violence for the sake of it, at that point!
All in all, compared to 'Sicko', this was a complete letdown in quality and content for me. I'm sure it hit differently for others, though.🤷🏻♀️
The narrators were ok. I might feel swayed by the content, sorry.😟

Very hard to follow the storyline. The scenes jumped around a lot and left me feeling that things were incomplete and unexplained. The summation in the last chapter just didn’t make up for the lack of continuity in the book.
