I really enjoyed this book. The characters were very lifelike and I enjoyed reading about Remy and Jonah. I also liked that there were a few small "mysteries" that the characters tried to figure out .
Moderate: Sexual assault
Minor: Murder

I was really intrigued by the first line and premise of this book. I was also continually impressed with Remy and her strength both physically and emotionally. I love characters that overcome a lot and she definitely fit that description especially as she rescued J.
I wouldn't want to read tons of books with an amnesia storyline but it is very interesting occasionally. I cannot imagine how difficult it was for J to wake up disorienting, in pain, and not remembering anything. I felt like the descriptions of his predicament were really well written.
This book deals with some fairly heavy topics. You should definitely check trigger warnings as there are a few, but please message me if you have questions. Some of the reviews have been incredibly harsh about triggers and in my opinion not accurate. Mine are genuinely honest on my StoryGraph review.
This book has a great mix of love, mystery, and a fun setting. I hope you'll give it a chance after you read reviews and warnings.
I really liked Remy and J together. I loved how they completely exasperated each other but how they were still there for each other. I adored J's level of patience and control with Remy. I'm definitely curious to read the next book in the series.
I received an advanced copy of this book through NetGalley. This is my honest review.

I was really excited when I got the chance to read Becky Wade’s new release! A cute enemies-to-lovers romance, a cottage by the sea in Maine setting, an artsy heroine who saves the hero, and a bit of a mystery had me really excited to read Memory Lane.
First of all, I loved the setting! I’ve always liked cottages so I loved that Remy lived in one! I also liked Remy and reading about her very simple and secluded lifestyle. It kind of sounded like the perfect getaway in my mind. I loved that she was artsy and imaginative. As for the hero, I won’t say much for spoilers, but I did like him! While I couldn’t relate to him or his lifestyle as much, I enjoyed reading his journey to finding Remy and found it interested to read about someone recovering from amnesia.
The romance was sweet and I enjoyed the banter between these two as they went from not even liking each other to becoming friends to more.
It was exciting having mystery and suspense tied into the plot as well as having a side plot about a sweet elderly couple thrown in.
This book does deal with some heavier topics. A few times I was a little uncomfortable with details concerning certain things but thankfully things never went too far. Something I missed in this book and wished there was a little more of was faith content. The faith content in this book was very subtle. It was more present at the end which I enjoyed but for most of the book it felt absent. I also didn’t care for the casual drinking but I know that doesn’t bother most people. I didn’t care for Fiona’s POV or how much talk there was of couples having affairs.
Content notes/ trigger warning: Assault, trauma, infidelity/affairs, and alcohol/casual drinking.
Overall, I enjoyed this book! While I didn’t love it quite as much as some of Becky Wade’s other books I’ve read, it was still a good book and I enjoyed the first part of the book the most. I’m looking forward to reading Jude’s story since I really liked him in this book! If you’re looking for a sweet romance that deals with heavier topics, I think you’ll enjoy this one!
