Easy to read in short spurts. Part advice, part instructional, has some exercises if you’re interested, included some art, add in a little bit of memoir and you’ve got a nice little book.

A fun and snappy listen while working and making various things. I have another one of his audiobooks to listen to, hopefully there will be some good takeaways there.

A cute book with supplementary exercises and lots of advice. Summary: "just do the work" - hard to see when you are in a rut/struggle with a creative block or a burnout but I guess true regardless. The anxiety is gripping but the longer you put it away, the worse it gets. Just try to go through it, one tiny step at a time.

"I have tried every conceivable way to conquer work-block—that fear of working, which is a fear of failure. There's only one method that works: Just work. And keep working.

If you like books about art and making art; Saltz lays out helpful guidance and ideas for those trying to create their art, what form it may take.

I appreciate the quick read.

At its core, this book is just inspirational quotes.
