Was pretty long and some of the words flew over my head. I did like the descriptions of nature and the atmosphere though. And soft Darcy moments.

This is mediocre fan fiction. There were so many anachronisms, so much mischaracterization of the original characters, and no real mystery to speak of.

Little development on Austen's characters, a Chapter at the end fails to insert the connection between Elizabeth and Darcy that I craved.

This was a wonderful use of Jane Austen's beloved characters from Pride and Prejudice! While it is definitely helpful to have read the original novel, James does a good job of summarizing the relevant elements. I enjoyed the mystery and drama,
and of course the Austen-esque happy ending
.
