♡ True-Crime Podcast
♡ Amateur Detective Work

Again, much like the last book I loved the extra details in the formatting.  The little details like that are really lovely.

This book started out a bit cliché, I mean asking a teenager to help find your missing (possibly dead) brother seems totally full proof.  However, I did get invested after a while and the plot really went in a different direction than I was expecting.  The “who did it” was a bit random but it was entertaining to read about the journey.

Pip having a true-crime podcast totally fits her vibe.  If she doesn’t become a detective after this I’m going to scream because she’s doing the whole police departments job at this point.

I’ve been rereading this series in preparation of the tv show, and I have to admit, I couldn’t remember ANYTHING about this book… literally nothing.

After solving the Andie Bell case, Pip is done playing detective. She won’t let herself get absorbed into a case the same way ever again. But when her friend’s brother disappears, and the police won’t do anything, Pip must do the thing she promised herself she wouldn’t - investigate.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, I love Pip! She is definitely in my top 10 favourite main characters, maybe in the top 5. Ravi is also a brilliant character and the perfect counterpart to Pip, the two of them are just perfect together.

I love a good mystery, and this was definitely a good one! A classic YA mystery/thriller!

Overall, I really enjoyed rereading this book and I can’t wait to read the last book!

Again, don’t love the language. Also this book is awfully similar plot lines to the first just a thought. BUT OH MY GOSH
I KNEW FROM THE VERY BEGINNING I DIDNT LIKE CHARLIE GREEN I KNEW IT SINCE PAGE 191 and I’ll admit I thought he was child Brunswick for a little while but when the truth came out I immediately knew he was Layla and the whole plot fell together woah
