I was very unsure where this book was going to go after the last one, however it was just as good. I love the mix media of interviews and seeing the evidence, etc. But it's not so much that it breaks up the story. The last 45 pages had me gripping my book and leaning in closer while trying to keep my emotions under control so that I see what happens.

I cried at the end. This book is nothing for someone that doesn’t deal well with
death
but it is plot wise amazing and I can’t wait to read “As good as dead”

This was a great second book and I can’t wait to read the third. Pip and Ravi being back at another case should feel the same, but there was something about this time that just felt more dark and gritty. I’m happy the author doesn’t water down the story for a more YA feel, the story is just as I could imagine it in adult fiction just with a YA cast.
A perfect book for fall.

Crying score: yup

Jackson does it again in the sequel to AGGGTM. Pippa once again investigates as her friends older brother goes missing and the police won't investigate. In this new installment Pippa is determined to rescue her friends brother and return him safely. This new book retains all the joy and intrigue of the first while remaining different from the first books story. The only way this is really bad though is because Sal is in this book way less than the first unfortunately. I am so excited to see where Jackson takes the story into the second and accompanying novella.

OK. How do I even start? Another wild ride as usual. And just like the previous book, it did not take long at all before I was absolutely hooked. definitely a point there. Was not expecting that sad and intense ending, and I am equal parts intrigued and very, very nervous for what the next book has in store for me. The plot was very well planned and thought out as always (thank you Holly Jackson), and the Brunswick part of the story kinda took me off guard, but in a great way, and I love how it tied into the whole story! I did think that Jamie Reynolds' motivations and purpose in the whole thing was a bit ridiculous, but the again, I don't know what goes on thru the minds of 24 year old having an existential crisis, therefore I have no right to judge. I'm just glad he was actually alive and well this time, unlike our first victims.

That's all for now, I had absolute blast as always, and I'm very excited for the finale!!
