Woa, what a roller coaster. I think, that this book was the best of the three, but I though the ending was a little disappointing…
I think the trilogy improved with each book.
The ending with the Darkling was very emotional and sad, but I don’t know if I like that Alina ended up with Mal. Especially in this book she keeps talking about how she has changed and is not the same anymore, but then she still ends up with Mal and opens an orphanage. I also think that Mal being revived takes the meaning out of his death and sacrifice. :/ But oh well, I didn’t completely hate the ending either, it just felt a little unfitting.
Otherwise I think the story was really well told and super exciting! Poor Nikolai though ;^; I loved Zoyas character development in this book!
I was so happy that Genya and David got a happy ending!!!  Why did he have to die in the show ToT ?!?!?
Also Oncat <3

Great plot, lots of plot twists coming up that there is no way you could guess. Beautiful ending. Keeps your attention the whole way through.

I’m dead. How do I even start any other book after this one? This series has been incredible so far with the love triangles, the fantasy landscape, and the cast of wonderful characters, but this last book has truly ended the series with a bang.

So many twists and turns, a slightly slow start but once it picks up it is pretty much non-stop until the end. Tears were shed, books were *almost* thrown at walls, squeals were heard near-constantly while reading, and my face looked pretty much like this →

This book broke my heart into so many pieces, I loved the series with all my heart and gave me strong characters I will always be able to relate to and made me believe that one person can change the world, but they cannot do it alone.
I don’t understand the hate that this series, I hold it very dear in my heart, and genuinely didn’t want it to end
