I found the blurb and title to be a little misleading as there isn't much focus on the deflowering of Em. I don't want to spoil the fun but just wanted to throw that out there. I'm not a fan of the back and forth between past and present in full chapter form. Most of it could have either been provided in chronological order or via flashbacks. Overall, I did enjoy the story. The double epilogue was possibly the best part of the whole story.

First one I have read from this writer. It was a little intense right from the beginning. I enjoyed how it took you back in time to the beginning of their relationship friendship. It helped explain a little bit. Fast paced intense storyline with two great characters. Was definitely a good book from beginning to end. I will be reading more from this writer.

This book features Dom and Emma. Emma has a strange sense of humor. When you think she should be laughing, she’s not. Then she giggles constantly when nothing is funny. Strange! Her “friendship“ with Eric is weird too. One minute she’s friendly and the next she’s yelling and being rude. Fickle! But her love for Dom and his for her is beautiful. My heart broke for their childhoods. I think Emma was just dealt a bad hand when it came to mothers. Drunk or sober, her mother was terrible either way. I was totally shocked when we finally found out who was the boss of The Jenkins Union!

The story line was good. Dom was a great character. He was a sexy beast that ran his own company and knew what he wanted. Emma was quite strange, which affected my rating because she was a main character and ALWAYS in the forefront of the story.
