This is like Twin Peaks, Stranger Things, and The Lottery had a child. I loved the beginning but found the ending dragged. I’m intrigued as to where this will go but I’m not sure if or when I’ll continue the series.

First half is gaslighting the book and it’s kinda funny. Disappointed by the twist I thought it was going to be cooler

There is certainly intrigue and good tension, but I spent a lot of time reading in incredulity of both the plot and the alleged character motivations. My fifth Crouch book and the first that left me baffled in a bad way.
