4⭐️ = Good.
Paperback.
As always, the Agatha Raisin series continues to have plenty of interesting characters. Agatha was particularly grumpy and intolerant in this book…just what I love about her!

I started off this series loving Agatha Raisin and the side characters. The village atmosphere made me want to live there, despite the murders. But the last few books have been less than mediocre. Agatha Raisin has turned to the most annoying person. The beloved side characters are snippy. Everyone is rude to everyone else. There is no character growth. Each book is the same old with a new murder. And things from one book are forgotten in the next. I hate to say this after 23 books with only 7 more to go, but I’m done with Agatha Raisin. Sorry Aggie, but we are through.
