I was reading this at breakneck speed ready for 5 stars. It’s about what you might think-neighbors with strange happenings. So why 3 stars? I hated the ending. And it all felt so unbelievable. Too bad! It started out great!

Another quick and entertaining read from Kiersten Mondglin. This is a story about a couple who just recently move to a new location. In the process, they met their neighbor and things began to escalate.
The story was told from multiple perspectives and although the build up was really good wherein in it reached this soap opera feels, the final reveal is just ok and felt a little absurd.

i don't like rating books anymore, but i'm absolutely flabbergasted at how truly BAD this book was. there was absolutely no depth to any of the characters, and the antagonists were mustache-twirling cartoon villains from the first encounter.
the husband just up and cheats on his wife because the neighbor is hot. like. that's it. like... you have to give us more to make any of this believable.
