This started out as an awesome short story. It was silly, cute, sexy, and well written. Obviously being a short story, there's not much character development. But from what I read, I liked the H/h enough. My favorite part of the whole thing is being pulled in quickly and the fast pace. Win! And the little bits of humor was a nice touch as well. Something that I always appreciate.
That said, the little surprise twist at the end is one of my pet peeves in short stories and I definitely hated it here. Please stop! It ruined the whole story for me. Talk about a wallbanger. For that reason alone, I can't recommend this book. And that's also my reasoning behind the lower grade for a book that I enjoyed 99% of. I won't be reading this author again because of that twist also. A shame because this was well written…
