Lots of cute little cartoons, not so much with helpful advice. Not what I was looking for at all. I skimmed through it at the store and was glad I hadn't bought it.

One of my friends is going on this diet and asked if I wanted to join her. I said I'd have to read up on it first before I decided, so here I am. I suspect I won't necessarily read the whole book or precisely front to back.

This book has a lot of good tips and suggestions. It is very easy to read with all of the scientific terms explained in everyday language. Sometimes the analogies were a bit much as was the effort to be funny but overall a good starting point if you are looking to make sense of good eating habits and a healthy lifestyle.

This book was a fun way to learn about our bodies and how it works and how we can keep it clean and healthy...also has some diet tips and recipes...though, I always take issue with these type of recipes, they always call for a lot of fish, which is expensive and lots of weird ingredients that I've never heard of and would have to order special online to even get them into my house.

The two authors are fun, a little redundant, but informative. A good read.

I think this is a great book if you want to know exactly what is going on with your body as far as nutrition. All the scientific stuff is explained in a way where you can understand it easily.

This book lays out a good practical plan for losing weight and does a great job of explaining how your body processes food and the effect various foods have.

i would definitely enjoy reading this book a lot more if they would stop grasping at cheesy metaphors.

however, i did see Dr Roizen speak at a company event last week, and he was very entertaining. He also spoke about the science behind food/diet in an easy to understand fashion.
