The message is great. The delivery? Way. Too. Long.
Seriously—cut the word count by half and I would have given it 4 stars.
That being said—check out the appendix in the back called: Ten Tools for Embracing Your Finitude. Good tips, consolidated, and worth thinking about.

If you're looking for a way to better manage your time, read this book - it will remind you that you can't. That, however, is the point, as this is more a philosophy of time, how much we have, and what we should REALLY be doing with it and why. Burkeman references philosophers quite frequently, some to humorous effect. Unless you're determined to keep your nose pressed against the grindstone, you will feel slightly better having read it.

Lots of really nice insights from different philosophies. I'm writing this a few weeks after finishing and I can't recall all that much, so I can't say it really stuck with me.

This book is not tips and tricks on how to shove more activities into your limited time.
It’s a philosophical look at how we live our finite lives. It’s a psychological reset. Made me cry twice.
Highly recommended
