Well that one made me cry. Brilliant story written from the perspective of a 10 year old girl slowly losing her sight.

I really liked this novel, especially because of the narrative it told. I had honestly never heard of Stargardt disease before and reading from the perspective of a nine-year-old dealing with it and going blind was very emotional. Mafalda is definitely likeable and her fears are valid. I don't think all of her actions were right, be it stealing from others or not telling her parents her thoughts, but she is a kid and I understand. I loved her relationship with Estella and oh man, it hurts - iykyk. That one really hit close to home. Also the cat and her growing friendship with Filippo were cute. I really loved the message of the ending, however, I felt it to be quite sudden in some way? It was resolved quite fast and I also missed that there was no last part for the last couple of chapters because I don't think they necessarily fit under "thirty feet". Anyways, I really do recommend this novel. Be it for the disability rep or the human relationships that were displayed.:)

Vediamo come Mafalda affronta ogni giorno, momento, decisione capendo come i bambini possano percepire determinate cose.
