Inspiring, encouraging, excellent. Brother Andrew has done it again.
For the Love of My Brothers picks up where [b:God's Smuggler|824062|God's Smuggler|Brother Andrew|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1347829238s/824062.jpg|2296068] ended and broadcasts the expanded vision of Open Doors Ministry during/after the fall of communism. Though "dated" in some regards (I was age 3 and 5 respectively when this book was written and then updated), the book doesn't feel obsolete. I laughed, rejoiced, and mourned at different points. It was wonderful to be reminded of all God has accomplished and continues to accomplish in the lives of believers across the world.
Brother Andrew's heart for Islam and the Middle East is extremely interesting, almost prophetic, in light of what was to happen only 3 years later.
As always, I love reading about Brother Andrew and everything God has done through him. Also, I love that I also now have a connection with Eastern Europe. The fall of communism isn't just a historical fact, I met people who witnessed it while I traveled there. It makes this book all the more dear.
