The romantic backstory had put this book for a bit. I didn't see a warning for it and I was caught off guard. 

Overall, this book was decent. I enjoyed everything but the romantic elements. I thought the characters were fun, and I enjoyed several of Henry's friendships over the years. The plot was alright, a little predictable.

Perfect addition to his first book, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. Perhaps not as gripping as the first, but still rather enjoyable.
Basically, this shit was fire.

One of the worst books I've ever read, but I was reading it for a book club and we had a  great time tearing it apart. Henry Sturges, you suck so bad (literally).
