There's already plenty of people on the internet who have gone into detail about how atrociously bad Roy Dotrice's narration is, so I'll just say that's why I can't finish this, though the sunk cost fallacy almost made me persevere. If I ever re-read this series I'll have to pick up my actual books again.

I never thought I would enjoy these books as much as I am. After watching the tv show I thought that the book would feel very long and boring, full of detail that are not important to the plot, but I was wrong. I am super excited to keep reading and to (re)discover everything that is going to happen to these characters.

P.S.: The editions that I bought are (probably) not the best - they are pocket size. I'm reading in a group read and for the first book I've read three of my books, so I feel that the story is cut in weird places and my reviews are never complete.
