Sad that the last book was the most disappointing out of this whole trilogy (don’t get me wrong, it was still good, but definitely not as good as its predecessors). A lot of the beginning and middle was fairly repetitive, and the climax was rewarding but ultimately it was pretty sappy. I still love the characters but overall I was looking for something a little more.

Had a few rough moments in the beginning where I was horribly concerned things would go utterly disastrous, but it was saved by the beauty of both Finian and Kal. Honestly, this one made me cry twice. A delight mixed with some moments of rage.

Ok....well I really enjoyed this book series. I laughed, I groaned at some things, I even cried at a few parts in this last installment. Yup, Zila was my favorite crew member, just like so many others who have read this book. There was a bit of a slog in the middle of the book and I think this book could have been trimmed down a 100 pages and it would not have hurt it. The end was fine, they did wrap things up nicely, without giving spoilers I would say I was satisfied with the outcome. This series was about the value of friendship, trust and ultimate sacrifice, oh and love. Even with my complaints with these, I would recommend these to anyone who likes a bit of YA Sci-fi.

What an end to an amazing series. I didn't want it to end, and there are parts I wish could change if only for the characters' sakes, but the twists were done well and were unexpected. I am still a bit in shock at how some of the specifics played out.

I enjoyed the series for the most part but found the end a bit meh and some of the trope were my least favourite.
Needed more Fin.
