There were some really nicely written bits and it did what it did well, it was just too dark and heavy for me to say I enjoyed it overall

Mamut es el fi al de la trilogia. Boulder y Permafrost son excepcionales. Este me ha dejado con mal sabor de boca. La historia, a difere cia de las otras dos, la encuentro previsible y sin demasiada atención a loa momentos clave de cambio de la protagonista. El final parece precipitado. Eso sí, el lenguaje exquisito, como es habitual en Baltasar, a menudo me paro a re leer frases. Una de las mejores voces de la literatura en catalán del momento

This was definitely the best of the woman moved to the country and reconnects with #theland that I’ve read, but I think the narrative doesn’t really go anywhere? Which is probably the point, but left me a bit unsatisfied. I like the relationship to sex in this novel, the translation is beautiful, the language is great, but yeah I don’t fully know how this really sits within me
