A crazed man escapes from an asylum outside Glasgow convinced that he is Humphrey Bogart. Not the actor, but an amalgam of all the characters he played on screen. Every person he meets, and everything that happens to him gets warped in his mind to fit into some sinister plot(s) taken from the various Bogart films. What may look like an ordinary frozen turkey is, to him, a Maltese Falcon. He ends up getting in the way of some real criminals, and things really get out of hand.

An amusing pastiche of Film Noir tropes. I enjoyed the Scots dialog. A big problem for me, though, is the small format of this edition. Very tough on my old eyes.

I really enjoyed this graphic novel. It had well placed references to bogart works and did a brilliant job at paradoying the noir genre.
