Some very interesting stories of historial feminist women and there’s a huge focus on how people aren’t perfect and too often their histories are censored. A little essay style for me but a good listen

I enjoyed the content but found the delivery a bit dry. Some great statements in here about appreciating different kind of feminists and not critiquing one another pointlessly (said and explained more eloquently by the author haha).

The first half was extremely interesting and well put together, providing a complete yet easily understandable picture of the history of feminism and feminist issues around the victorian and suffragette era. I found those chapters both informative and insightful without being boring. However, about halfway through, when the themes started to approach more recent times and issues there was definitely an undercurrent  of TERFy energy I didn't particularly enjoy. A lot of the most recent issues were talked about in a way that seemed to be defending "problematic" women without necessarilly fully going into why their behavior was problematic. Especially when she talked about that lady that works with "men's rights" activists in a sympathetic light I was confused. Overall, it was an interesting read (especially the historical chapters) but keep in mind the author has some views which should be considered critically.

I found the facts interesting but did not feel massively comfortable with her opinions/arguments. Lost complete interest after she discussed Erin Pizzey (currently an advocate for MRAs) I mean seriously

Starts off okay, with a history of early feminism in the UK. However, it quickly gets TERF-y and I can see why the author was accused of using white tears as a weapon.

There are much better, intersectional feminism books available.
