Probably the beginning of us getting frustrated with Cassie who has lost all logical perspective in order to save some baby skunks. But still a fun and pretty funny entry.

I quite enjoyed this adventure especially the ending, which is just fantastic. Sometimes the kids are all right.

Don't get me wrong, I like Cassie. She's empathetic in a way only Tobias has been and serves as a vessel to communicate the moral dilemmas of what they're doing. But it does kind of bother me how she seems to be unable to exist outside of her very small scope of the world. . It definitely humanizes her, which is something in writing that I will always appreciate. I do wonder if this constant waffling will eventually bite her, and maybe all of them, in the ass.
Spoiler
while she does apologize to Tobias later, it bothers me that she has such a holier than thou take on protecting animals, on making choices. She knows that what Tobias went through was traumatizing. She knows how hard it is to not let the animal DNA completely take over. So why does she villainize Tobias when she herself regularly feeds animals to other animals at her dad's wildlife preserve?kartrick's review

Nothing much to say. I liked, nonetheless. I wonder why the next part is "The Android"?
