Just finished my first Bukowski and boy was it a treat. A refreshingly blunt voice, a voice we all have inside us if we’d admit it to ourselves. The result makes life that much funnier and that much sadder. Cheers.

Despite the misogyny, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I think it was the perfect length.

another alcoholic white american man writing stuff

I hate to admit that some stuff was funny and honest and raw in a way that provoked a reaction from me (a repulsed reaction most of the time)

unsure if I’ll read anything more from him
