As the last book in this series, it gave me all the feels. I laughed, teared up, and am so sad it's over, but looking forward to some future series. I adore Finn. Just adore him in this book. He's always been a side character, one who made things funny and I enjoyed his comedic factor in earlier books, but never thought he would become a character I loved. Until this book. He's loveable, strong, supportive, and carries a weight on his shoulder we never knew about til now. "Real heroes aren't without vulnerabilities." And boy does Finn have some.

Julia is a strong female. She's the perfect counterpart for Finn. She can stand on her own two feet, but also knows when she can lean on someone else. And Finn is the perfect person to stand beside her, or hold her up when needed. I loved watching them two grow together.

Also, this book has a lot of 80s references, who doesn't like that? Movie references galore too. And just maybe, a costume party. How can you not love that?

I think this book did well ending the series. We got a little bit of all of our favorite Stealth Ops characters, and teasers for future series, so while it's sad it's ending, there still are better things to come!

Finn, the last single man on Echo. Pulled the short straw to play bodyguard for Julia. The last thing Julia wanted was a bodyguard. So she pulls out all the stops to push Finn away to try and get him to quit.  Julia is secretly trying to free her friend.

For me, I feel like I have come full circle. The first book I read by Brittney Sahin was The Safe Bet. There I met Michael Maddox and his sister Julia. I was engaged and became a fangirl because Brittney is a homegirl, and the story takes place in Charlotte. I always wondered what would happen with Julia; I should have known that Brittney had plans for her down the road.

Brittney has brought an end to the Bravo and Echo teams, and it is bittersweet. I have so enjoyed getting to know all of them and go on their adventures. The best part is seeing each of them find their HEAs with smart, tough women that challenge them at every turn. One of the things I enjoy so much about Brittney's writing is her ability to bring us believable women who are so good at their jobs and have skills that make the guys jealous. Julia is no exception. She is so intelligent, and I am happy Brittney brought her back around to get a well-deserved HEA.

Finn has been a charming, funny guy for many books; of course, he was hiding secrets. Julia has her own pain from the past that she struggles to let go of. Brittney brought them together to solve a mystery, dance with some danger, and be all-around bad a$$es; how could they help but make the perfect storm. So much imagery for me in this book. I lived in Egypt for several years, and I could see the sights, smell the smells, and really immerse myself in this book. Julia and Finn's story is the perfect combination of everything and is the beautiful icing on the cake of a series I will read and read again because it's that good. Do yourself a favor and get caught in this storm of a great book.

Brittney has written yet another action packed suspenseful romance that will keep you turning the pages trying to figure out what is going to happen next!
I feel like one of the staples on Brittney’s stories is family, and not just the bonds of blood. This one is no exception. So many of the characters in the book have been introduced in previous books so it was fun seeing everyone working together.
Julia and Finn’s story is full of heartache and emotion. 36% in and she was bringing tears to my eyes and breaking my heart. Throughout the story not only are Julia and Finn on their own separate ops, after the bad guys, but they’re on their own emotional journey of healing as well.
Brittany does such an amazing job with her details, character development, and over all story arc that the questions you have along the way get answered.
The tone that she sets throughout the story has it playing through my head like a movie. Now that I’ve finished reading it I have to remind myself that I read a book and didn’t watch a movie!
Another great book by the one and only Brittney Sahin!
If you love military type romance with suspense you will love this.

This marks the 8th and final book in Brittney Sahin’s Stealth Ops series and it comes out tomorrow!!! This is so bittersweet for me. I’ve loved this series from the first book and it’s been one I always look forward to! While I can’t wait to see what Brittney writes up next Echo and Bravo teams will always hold a special place for me.

Chasing The Storm follows Dalton “Finn” Finnegan the last single guy standing after he pulls the short straw on playing bodyguard for Julia Maddox as a favor to her brother. Both Julia and Finn are stubborn to a fault, loyal as hell, and willing to do anything for their loved ones. I loved following along as Julia and Finn work to save a life as well as work through their own issues. I’ve always loved how Brittney addresses mental health in her books and Chasing the Storm is no exception. If you haven’t read the Stealth Ops series yet I fully recommend it. It’s the perfect balance of adventure, intrigue, steam and love. I can’t wait to see what comes next and I definitely have a few things I’m hoping for!!

The Queen B has done it again! With the Stealth Ops series coming to an end with Chasing the Storm; the suspense & adventure are incredible! All of Brittney’s books are 5 star, but deserve so much more.
Finally, Julia and Finn get their own story. Each are battling their own demons from the past; with traveling the world to save the ones they love. This is an amazing story of family, loyalty & plenty of HOT spice, with twists, turns and plenty of action!

The whole Stealth Ops series is a absolute MUST READ! You will not be disappointed! Looking forward to the next adventure!

This is so bittersweet. I’ve been reading the Stealth Ops books for a couple of years now and they never disappoint. Brittney immerses you into a fast paced, action packed, military world. As a military wife I fell in love with these characters. Chasing the Storm is the final installment of this current Stealth Ops series. Finn is such a sweetheart and humorous guy of the group. Julia is the sister of a former Marine. She’s been dedicated to helping military members transition to civilian life. When Julia starts receiving threats, her brother hires the guys to protect her. Finn is the lucky guy that gets to “babysit” her. This can be read as a stand-alone. But I highly recommend you read the series. The characters are amazing and the adventures are action packed. Enjoy the ride.
