Why did I do this to myself? I hoped book 2 was better. I was way wrong. Quick read but I was cringing and clenching my teeth the whole time.

How many annoying nicknames can you come up with? Apparently a lot.

These guys are not nice to her! Like I’m floored. I’m all for the morally grey villain that would burn the world. This is not that book. Gives off bully romance vibes but they’re supposed to be “adults.” Elliot straight up punches Scarlet in the face!! That’s just the tip of the iceberg.

Like 96% of this is just sex scene after sex scene. Not in a good way. I still like hate all the characters.

Scarlett is such a badass and we love her. To go through what she went through and come out of it still ready to love her guys, that’s my shit.

In this book we saw Scar and the guys overcome a lot of their trust issues with one another, especially between Scarlet and Eliot

I’m a crying mess ❤️

Oh my god! Dana Isaly rocked my world again. I am writing this review literally 3 seconds after finished reading Liars and my tears are stinging my eyes as I am cursing my way through everyone who insisted that I read it before the series were completed. How the heck am I supposed to wait till Omens get out? This was epic! Even better than Scars, the first in the series. I am so much in love with Sebastian, and now he replaced every other book boyfriend I have ever had. I could imagine him as a young child so much in need of affection and never actually got it. And when he has someone to place his affection, no one can ever dissuade him. Tristan and Elliot are also sweethearts for Scarlett and they have their own demons but Sebastian is oozing with past loneliness and it just breaks my heart. Okay, I am too emotional so let me get to the facts.

My boys found me, but a rift has formed.

Weeks ago I was steadily gaining their trust, finding my place in their lives and their beds. Now, it seems I’m the wedge driving the three of them apart.

I’ve been beaten, starved, and kept in the dark. All to come back to three men who can’t agree whether I’m an ally or a mole. But we have bigger problems to solve.

There’s a new player in the game.

The latest contender for the Dulca throne just so happens to be my favorite cousin. He was my best friend, my partner in crime. If I can get my boys to trust me long enough to keep them from starting a war, my family’s secret weapon could end up being the key to bringing our organizations together.

But I have no clue what Motshan is hiding up his sleeve, and we might not be able to come back from the carnage it could cause.

holy crap.

I anxiously awaited this book, reading scars right before and purchasing this on midnight on release day. It DID NOT DISAPPOINT. This series has already been cemented as my top favourite series of all time and I don’t think any other book will be able to surpass them. This book is perfection (despite that cliffhanger.. Dana!!). The relationships between scar and the boys are everything you want in a romance. I don’t have anything but good things to say about this book, I would recommend to anyone… even stand out stand and shout “have you read the triad series yet”. It’s just that good.

I did have a moment when Elliot and Scar figured out their issues… was it to much? Did it push it just a LITTLE to far for me? But then had to accept I kinda loved it and maybe just maybe I’m a little more of a sadist that I realized.

I will be counting down the days till book 3!
