A really fun way of introducing younger children to Renaissance art. The illustrations are colourful, detailed and engaging and hopefully will spark an interest in art. This book could be used before starting a new topic or even as the basis of an art lesson. There are many other books in the series that look at specific styles of art such as pointillism that could be used to introduce a new technical skill and provide some inspiration during a lesson.
