Very challenging reading both Animal farm and 1984. They both touch topics like political oppression, dictatorship in a future (kind of realistic) world. Even though these both works are criticizing socialism and the Sovietic Union, I prefer to see it more as a criticism to the repetitive cycle we, humans part of a society, repeat every time we "look for" a change in the social order. So dark, I liked seeing a different point of view of our society and our behaviour as beings part of it.
Graphic: Gore, Physical abuse, Slavery, Torture, and Forced institutionalization
Moderate: Body horror, Violence, War, and Classism
