I couldn't remember if the last one got boring/confusing enough for me to give up. But this one was action-packed from the get-go. Had I not read the back though I would have had no clue what was going on. Which has largely been my complaint up to this point. But the heart-breaking back stories and ending of this one redeemed all past missteps.

MY FAVORITE CHARACTER IS DEAD NOBODY TALK TO ME. I love the true confirmation that Maria really is dead especially combined with all the death in this one overall, I was expecting some sort of twist.Graphic: Blood, Cursing, Violence, Gore, Murder, Gun violence, and Suicide attempt

Welcome to Deadly Class vol. 4, where all your favorite characters die!
I really wonder how the story will continue with about five characters, and who on earth would read the chronicles of Shabnam for the rest of the series?!
I will start vol. 5 for the sake of my own curiosity, but I'll read it with angry attitude for what just happened here.

This was just pure tragedy. Extremely painful. Loosing two favourite characters -Willie and Billy- and changing the status quo. It was pure chaos, brutal and emotional, you couldn't grasp who was aligned with whom, it wrecked me. Wish me for a speedy recovery, highly unlikely though with volume 5 in my hands.

I can't express how much I love the art style being used here and then we have this awesome story backing it up. This is perfection. The progression, the art style, the panels, story, EVERYTHING. I don't think I have the words right now to drop a review, but I can't picture someone picking this up and not getting hooked.

It is here I take my leave. I can't handle the graphic violence anymore, haha.
There's so much senseless killing and teenage melodrama with pessimism flavoring every story. I will say that sometimes I thought Marcus' internal monologue was deep and insightful. I mean, these kids went through some rough sh*t and are really, really angry. At first I found Deadly Class as a whole to be entertaining and the concept interesting, but now I can't watch these characters quite literally ruin one each other's lives any longer.
