I understand Mao a little better now, so he’s growing on me.
The red string scene at the end was super cheesey but adorable.

I love them, I love their relationship. And the art is beautiful.

There's something real with between Mao and Hisashi that I love. How Mao tries to navigate his first relationship is so endearing, while Hisashi will love him regardless. I hope we're able to see more of them in the future, especially when navigating the age-old conundrum of 'it's our last year of high school, what'll we do after' between the boy (Mao) who has a relationship with his parents, and the boy (Hisashi) that does not. I feel like they'll work it out! (crossing my fingers) So, so hopeful for this cameraman and actor!

I must scream about the prologue---love certainly was around the corner, oh my gosh!!
