found this at the thrift store today and read it one sitting. i don’t necessarily think having his erotic poem together in one collection added to the experience but there’s undoubtedly some beautiful poetry in here nonetheless and i delighted in the wee illustrations!

Sensual, erotic, and that special style of weird that cummings perfected. I always find cummings a quick and breezy read, and this was no exception. Also, there are line drawings, which I had no idea was something he did. Maybe if we told high school students that e.e. cummings was super horny more of them would study poetry. Alas.
